Begin your journey from Carita and travel by private car to Taman Jaya. Explore Cibiuk Hot Spring, trek through the south coast of Ujung Kulon National Park and camp at Cibandawoh before continuing by slow boat to Handeuleum Island and Peucang Island.

Private Car + Slow Boat

Jakarta → Carita → Taman Jaya → Cibandawoh → Handeuleum → Peucang → Carita → Jakarta

Begin in Jakarta and travel by private car to Carita and onward to Taman Jaya. Follow the south coast trekking and camping route before continuing by slow boat through Handeuleum Island, Cigenter River, Peucang Island and the Ujung Kulon World Heritage Site.

Ujung Kulon Adventure Tour Itinerary

Follow the five-day journey through the south coast, tropical forest, islands, rivers, beaches and coastal landscapes of Ujung Kulon National Park.

DEPARTURE OPTION A

Private Car + Slow Boat

A five-day, four-night journey from Carita through Ujung Kulon National Park using private car and slow boat transportation, with jungle trekking and camping on the south coast.

DAY 01

Carita – Sumur – Taman Jaya – Cibiuk Hot Spring

In the morning at 8:00 AM, you will be transferred from Carita to Taman Jaya Village by private car. The journey takes approximately four hours. Upon arrival, check in at the lodge.

In the afternoon, visit Cibiuk Hot Spring and enjoy the surrounding countryside. The walk takes approximately three hours for the return journey. After the activity, return to the lodge.

DAY 02

Taman Jaya – Karang Ranjang – Cibandawoh Camping Tour, South Coast

Breakfast will be served at the lodge at 8:00 AM. After breakfast, begin the jungle trek to Karang Ranjang on the south coast of Ujung Kulon National Park. The trek takes approximately five hours on foot.

After a rest, continue walking to Cibandawoh Beach for the camping tour. The walk takes approximately 2.5 hours. Upon arrival, prepare the camping equipment and enjoy free time while exploring the beautiful south coast of Ujung Kulon National Park.

DAY 03

Cibandawoh – Karang Ranjang – Taman Jaya – Handeuleum Island

Breakfast will be served on the beach at 8:00 AM. After breakfast, trek back to Taman Jaya via Karang Ranjang. The walk takes approximately six hours.

In the afternoon, continue by boat to Handeuleum Island. Upon arrival, check in at the lodge and prepare for the river exploration planned for the following day.

DAY 04

Handeuleum Island – Cigenter River Exploration – Peucang Island

Breakfast will be served at the lodge at 8:00 AM. After breakfast, travel by boat to the Cigenter River for jungle canoeing. Explore the beautiful river and its surroundings while looking for the habitat of the Javan rhinoceros. The canoeing activity takes approximately two hours.

Before continuing to Peucang Island, stop at Cigenter Grazing Ground for animal watching. Then continue by boat to Peucang Island, with the journey taking approximately two hours. Upon arrival, check in at the lodge and enjoy free time.

DAY 05

Cidaon – Cibom – Ciramea – Tanjung Layar – Citerjun – Muara Baru – Carita

In the morning, breakfast will be prepared by your guide at 8:00 AM at the lodge. After breakfast, travel by boat to Cidaon Grazing Ground for a second animal-watching activity.

Continue by boat to Cibom and then proceed to Ciramea Beach for jungle trekking through Ujung Kulon National Park. The round trip takes approximately four hours. Explore Ciramea Beach before continuing to Tanjung Layar to visit the historical site and experience its beaches and jungle surroundings.

Return to Cibom and continue by boat to Citerjun for snorkeling. After the snorkeling activity, continue by boat to Muara Baru and then travel by car back to Carita.

End of the tour in Carita.

DEPARTURE OPTION B

Private Car + Slow Boat

A five-day, four-night journey from Jakarta to Ujung Kulon National Park combining private car and slow boat transportation, with jungle trekking and camping on the south coast.

DAY 01

Jakarta – Carita – Taman Jaya – Cibiuk Hot Spring

Travel from Jakarta to Carita by private car. The journey takes approximately three to four hours, depending on traffic conditions. Upon arrival in Carita, continue to Taman Jaya Village and check in at the lodge.

In the afternoon, visit Cibiuk Hot Spring and enjoy the surrounding countryside. The walk to the hot spring takes approximately three hours for the return journey. After the activity, return to the lodge.

DAY 02

Taman Jaya – Karang Ranjang – Cibandawoh Camping Tour, South Coast

Breakfast will be served at the lodge at 8:00 AM. After breakfast, begin the jungle trek to Karang Ranjang on the south coast of Ujung Kulon National Park. The trek takes approximately five hours on foot.

After a rest, continue walking to Cibandawoh Beach for the camping tour. The walk takes approximately 2.5 hours. Upon arrival, prepare the camping equipment and enjoy free time while exploring the beautiful south coast of Ujung Kulon National Park.

DAY 03

Explore Ciramea Beach before continuing to Tanjung Layar to visit the historical site and experience its beaches and jungle surroundings.

Return to Cibom and continue by boat to Citerjun for snorkeling. After the snorkeling activity, continue by boat to Muara Baru and then travel by car to Carita. From Carita, continue by private car to Jakarta.

End of the tour in Jakarta.
