Jakarta – Carita – Badul Island – Handeuleum Island –
Cigenter River – Peucang Island
Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up from
your hotel or apartment in Jakarta at around 5:00 AM.
Travel by private car to Carita, a coastal town on the
western side of Java, with the journey taking approximately
three hours.
Upon arrival in Carita, enjoy breakfast at a local
restaurant before continuing by private speedboat toward
Badul Island. The boat journey takes approximately
2.5 hours, with arrival expected around 10:30 AM.
Spend time exploring the small and beautiful Badul Island,
with an opportunity to snorkel in its surrounding waters.
After snorkeling, continue by speedboat toward Handeuleum
Island, located near the northeastern coast of the
Ujung Kulon Peninsula.
Handeuleum is surrounded by forests, wetlands and natural
waterways. From the island, meet the local ranger and
continue toward the Cigenter River for a canoeing
experience.
The Cigenter River winds through dense tropical rainforest.
Depending on conditions and tides, the canoe route can
reach deeper into the forest. The surrounding environment
provides a glimpse of Ujung Kulon's rich wildlife habitat.
After exploring Cigenter River, continue by speedboat
toward Peucang Island. Arrival is expected around
4:00–5:00 PM, followed by check-in at the lodge.
Enjoy free time on Peucang Island in the afternoon.
Dinner will be served at approximately 7:00 PM.
